At most places, Ore-Ida Tater Tots or Crispy Crowns only cost about $3, which isn't too bad.
Ore-Ida Tater Tots has this image on their website. Tater Tots were first created by pushing a potato mix through holes cut into plywood and cooking them. Approximately 70 million pounds of Tater Tots are sold each year.
To make this Tater Tot/Crispy Crown Casserole/Totchos, you need these ingredients:
1 Bag of Ore-Ida Tater Tots OR Crispy Crowns
2 Cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 tsp of Onion Powder
1/2 tsp of garlic salt
4 tbsp of sour cream
1/4 cup of chopped onions
Thaw the Tater Tots OR Crispy Crowns for 30 minutes.
In a baking dish, lay out the tots or crowns in a single layer.
Sprinkle the onion powder, garlic salt and chopped onions on top of the tots or crowns.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of everything in the dish and then cook for another 5 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
Spread the sour cream evenly on top of the casserole/totchos. (optional)
The dish is ready to serve!
